🇺🇸 3 Days 2 Nights Solo Trip in Chicago — Girls’ Travel Guide
🛏️ Accommodation: Hi Chicago Hostel - $50/night. Pretty nice! The second floor has a common area, and it’s clean. ✅ Pro tip: I visited during off-peak season and was able to check in early + choose my bed! 🎫 CityPASS: I went with the C3 version (choose 3 out of 6 attractions) for $110. You can book and even cancel if plans change. Totally worth it! 🎆 Fireworks Tour: Every Wednesday in summer at 21:00! I booked a fireworks cruise on Lake Michigan for $50. So magical! There are other boats and even kayaks—lots of ways to enjoy it. Day 1 All downtown attractions are within walking distance! Arrived at the airport → bought a 3-day transit pass ($15) on the Ventra App. Took the Blue Line straight to the hostel. Millennium Park – Took the classic Bean photos 🤳 Minghin Cuisine ($37) – Ate so much Chinese food those days lol 😂 Chicago Cultural Center – The Tiffany Dome is breathtaking! ✨ Magnificent Mile – Shopping… kinda boring tbh 🥱 World’s Largest Starbucks ($11) – Tried a limited drink (just okay) but got free dessert from staff 🍰 Chicago Riverwalk – Loved it! 💖 Full of vibe-y bars. Had a mocktail by the river and even saw a proposal 🥹 CP Architecture Tour (19:30) – Boarding at 401 N. Michigan Ave. Arrive 30 mins early! CP 360 Chicago (21:30) – Went up around 21:00 for blue hour views 🌆 Chicago Theatre – Quick photo op on the way! Day 2 CP Art Institute – Spent a long time here especially for the Frida Kahlo exhibit 🎨 Qiao Lin Hotpot ($66) – SO GOOD. The chicken soup base was everything 🍲 Andy’s Jazz Club ($20) – Super chill and fun! ❤️ Navy Pier Fireworks Cruise (20:30) – Sat on the right side of the boat for the best firework view. Felt proud for scoping the route ahead of time 😌 Day 3 Field Museum – The dinosaur fossils blew my mind! 🦖 Chinatown – Got Jasmine Milk Tea… so refreshing 🥤 Perfect mix of culture, food, and city vibes—highly recommend! #SoloTravel #ChicagoGuide #TravelForLess #USATravel #GirlsTrip
