If you’re visiting Acadia, you can’t miss the lobster in Bar Harbor — there’s a lobster shack every five steps! While the town is pretty touristy and prices are generally high, after trying several spots, one stands out: 📍 Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound Just a 20-minute drive from Acadia 🚗💨 The moment you arrive, you’ll see rows of giant boiling iron pots — so classic New England! 🍲✨ Their tanks are filled with fresh lobsters, and the "big" size is seriously BIG. Steaming the lobster in those giant iron pots makes it incredibly tender and sweet. The roe here was the richest we’ve had in three days of eating lobster every meal — absolutely unforgettable! 🧡 They also serve classic blueberry soda 🫐🥤, and the staff are super friendly — one even kindly showed us where to wash up after our messy feast 😄 Enjoy your meal at their outdoor seating area right next to a peaceful little lake — the view makes it even tastier! 🏞️🍴 Perfect after a day of hiking or driving through Acadia.
