🇺🇸 Atlanta | Absolutely Obsessed with This Peruvian Restaurant – SO
This place is seriously SO SO SO good! If you're a cocktail lover, it's worth visiting just for their drinks—but their food is even more impressive. One of my top restaurants this year, and a favorite of my friends who've traveled extensively throughout South America 💗 🍸 First, the Cocktails • Traditional Margarita: Incredibly flavorful and unique—a must-order! Highly recommend the Spicy version + upgraded to Mezcal for a smoky twist. The layers of flavor are absolutely divine. My friend downed two glasses in one go! Happy hour makes it a great deal. • Pisco Sour: Peru’s national drink! A refreshing and smooth twist on the classic whiskey sour (replace whiskey with pisco). Perfect for those who prefer lighter drinks. 🦪 Happy Hour Snack Recommendations • Tio Oysters: Topped with onions and corn—chilled, tangy, and slightly sweet. Perfect with drinks! • Chicken Thigh Skewers: Surprisingly amazing! Super juicy and tender with a crispy, smoky exterior. Completely changed my perception of dry American chicken. • Fried Yuca: Crispy outside, soft inside, served with a rich, slightly smoky barbecue-style sauce. Full of South American flair! 🐟 Dinner Menu Highlights • Ceviche Carretillero: A classic must-try! Fresh marinated fish with crispy fried calamari and crunchy nuts for texture. • Arroz con Mariscos (Seafood Rice): Different from traditional Spanish paella—richer, saucier, and with a hint of spicy acidity. The seafood is simmered to perfection. Huge portion, great for sharing! (If you want another main, try the Pollo a la Brasa!) ✨ Tips Happy Hour runs from 5 PM to 7 PM—great for drinks and snacks. Check times in advance! Parking validation available at the lot next to the restaurant. 📍 Tio Lucho's #Atlanta #AtlantaFood #AtlantaEats #AtlantaLife #PeruvianFood #HappyHour #FoodieRecommendations #NorthAmericanLife 🍹🔥
