🇺🇸 Baltimore’s Free Gem: The Walters Art Museum 🏛️🎨

They say a real city should have at least one museum, an art gallery, a symphony, an opera house, and a major stadium. Well, Baltimore checks that box with The Walters Art Museum — intimate, elegant, and beautifully understated. Though it doesn’t aim to showcase the entire world of art, it wins you over with its historic architecture, peaceful atmosphere, and photogenic corners across four floors 📸✨. We even stumbled upon a couple having a photoshoot there! The collection focuses largely on early human art — no big famous masterpieces, but plenty of interesting pieces to enjoy casually. I was especially impressed by the Japanese sword exhibition ⚔️. Located near the famous Peabody Institute 🎶, the whole neighborhood is charming with cobblestone streets and historic churches — a favorite filming location for Hollywood movies set in Baltimore! You don’t have to go… but if you do, you won’t regret it 💫. 📍 The Walters Art Museum 🆓 Free entry 🕙 Check website for hours #Museum #FreeMuseum #Baltimore #BaltimoreLife #ArtLover #HiddenGems #CulturalWalk #TravelDMV #WaltersMuseum 🖼️👣
