🇺🇸 Baltimore | A Foodie's Journey 🦞🦀🌮🍢🍨
Last week, I went to JHU for my cousin's graduation ceremony and tried many Baltimore foods highly recommended by locals — absolutely satisfying! Here’s my food diary to share with you all 😋 1️⃣ ChoSun Hwaro Locals say it’s the best KBBQ near Baltimore (in Ellicott City)! Great atmosphere, and the staff were super friendly — they even helped us grill 🥩. The cheese steamed egg and old-school Korean lunchbox (pictured) were both visually appealing and delicious 👌. 2️⃣ Oasis Uzbek Kebab House 🍢 Uzbek cuisine that tastes very similar to Xinjiang food! The decor alone makes you feel transported. Highly recommend the plov (rice pilaf), lamb kebabs, and grilled chicken wings! 3️⃣ Thames Street Oyster Bar 🦪 A once-Michelin-recognized seafood spot! Beautiful plating and amazing flavors. The scallop dish was a standout, and the oysters were incredibly fresh 🦪✨. 4️⃣ Blue Moon Cafe 🌓 A popular brunch spot in Baltimore — small but cozy with retro vibes. The Crab Benedict 🦀 was loaded with crab meat. So satisfying! 5️⃣ Water Song Yunnan Kitchen A nice Yunnan restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. You can reserve their signature steamed pot chicken in advance — a bit pricey but authentic. 6️⃣ Sacré Sucré 🍰 A pastry shop I truly adore — beautiful desserts that aren’t overly sweet! Perfect for a treat. 7️⃣ Ceremony Coffee ☕️ A café with many creative coffee drinks. Their iced tea is also refreshing and delicious! 8️⃣ Moo Moo Cows 🐮 A cute cow-themed ice cream shop with high ratings. I especially loved the peach pie flavor 🍦. #Maryland #Baltimore #FoodTour #EatLikeALocal #JHU #GraduationTrip #USAFood #FoodDiary 🍽️✨
