šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø Bloomington IN Gastropub Recommendation šŸ»

This week, my husband and I came to Bloomington for a work trip. Right after getting off the plane, we headed straight to this gastropub—I was really craving a salad! šŸ„— A Caesar salad at a gastropub is always a safe bet, and since they also serve drinks and seafood, we decided to give this place a try. The steamed mussels were so fresh! The broth was amazing with bread šŸ„–. Paired with a drink, it was the perfect way to unwind after a flight. He ordered a Black and Tan beer, as usual, but this time it didn’t have the layered look—still, he said it tasted great! I went for a mimosa since it was a weekend special—only $4! But honestly, the glass was pretty small šŸ˜…, so we ended up ordering more drinks. They have 3-4 discounted drinks every day, which is a nice touch! We also tried a 23oz German beer for just $6—now that felt like a way better deal! šŸ» Food-wise, the salad was a reliable choice. The blackened salmon had a deliciously seared crust—really tasty! The warm side salad was a bit too oily for my liking, though. For dessert, we had vanilla ice cream with brownie šŸØ. I love ice cream, but this was even too sweet for me—I couldn’t finish it! Still, sipping drinks, enjoying dessert, and watching baseball together made for a happy little moment. šŸ’— The service here was really attentive. Our server was super observant—just a quick glance, and they were right there. As a sports bar, they have tons of TVs. They even switched the screen right in front of us to the Dodgers game when we asked! ⚾🧢 So of course, we ended up ordering a few more cocktails šŸ¹. The cocktail names were pretty funny too (though I can’t remember them now—haha!). One I tried was a Cosmopolitan made with Four Roses P5—both were delicious! They also have an ā€œAround the Worldā€ beer list and a beer challenge—complete it and win a T-shirt! I didn’t look too closely, but it sounds fun! They even have live music on Sundays from 8–10 PM! Overall, a great spot—we’ll definitely be back! šŸ“ šŸ“ Crazy Horse 214 W Kirkwood Ave, Bloomington, IN 47404 Have you been to Crazy Horse? What’s your favorite drink or dish here?
