🇺🇸 Boston Food | Authentic Boston Lobster

Feels like a wasted trip to Boston if you don’t have lobster here. Drove from New York to Boston, dropped our bags at the hotel in the evening, and walked into the local classic seafood spot Boston Sail Loft to experience authentic Boston lobster 🤭🤭🤭. 📍 Great location – right by the harbor, window seats offer sea views. We sat outside, facing the harbor while enjoying our lobster 🦞. 🦞 Lobster Taste | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The lobster meat was unreal – so firm and bouncy, incredibly fresh without needing much seasoning. I ordered the Whole Steamed Lobster with butter – the classic combo. Eating it with my hands was so satisfying, and there was plenty of roe. The set meal came with a choice of salad or mussels – I went with salad to feel slightly healthier, otherwise this “uric acid feast” would’ve weighed on my conscience 😂. 🍽 Overall Food | ⭐⭐⭐ Besides the lobster, we also tried the lobster bisque – way too salty, couldn’t finish it. Also had a plate of stir-fried veggies – just okay. 🌊 Ambiance | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Feels like a little harbor tavern – not fancy, but very local. 💰 Value for Money | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The lobster was delicious, but factoring in the other dishes (which I didn’t find great), the value drops a bit. Still highly recommended if you’re just here for the lobster. 📌 Tips: Recommend making a reservation in advance, especially for evenings and weekends. We walked in, not knowing how long the drive from New York would take – maps said 4 hours, but since it was our first time driving in the US, we took it slow and ended up driving for about 6 hours. We arrived at the restaurant after 9 PM and still had to wait – took about ten minutes to get a table. If you can sit inside, do – outside can get chilly. #BostonFood #BostonLobster #BostonSailLoft #ClamChowderRecommendation #HarborFood
