🇺🇸 Chicago Eats | Delicious Food Spots in Lincoln Park

I’ve been totally obsessed with Lincoln Park lately — I find myself heading there every weekend! 🏃‍♀️💨 This area is packed with great-value restaurants and has become my go-to foodie neighborhood in Chicago. Plus, it’s surrounded by fun spots like bouldering gyms, cinemas, craft workshops, and beautiful parks — perfect for a full and fun weekend! 🧗‍♀️🎬🌳 🍣 Sushi by Bou A 12-piece omakase experience for $50 per person — you gotta finish in 30 minutes! ⏳ The fish is fresh, and as part of a chain, the quality is consistent. My favorites are the miso cod and the surf & turf (American wagyu + uni). 🤤 🥢 Shine Shanghai Kitchen A pan-Asian spot where you need to pre-order authentic Shanghai dishes via the owner’s WeChat. Highlights: Crab with Rice Cakes ($50 for 6 crabs! 🦀) and Shepherd’s Purse Tofu Soup. The stir-fried shrimp uses sea shrimp (which isn’t quite the same as river shrimp), but hey — finding fresh river shrimp in the US is pretty much a dream… 😅 🍽️ Robert et Fils (French) Portions are bigger than expected! Two of us were full after just a salad and mussels & fries. The fries are AMAZING — don’t skip them! 🍟 Desserts are also recommended — not too sweet. The opera cake was sliced a bit thin, but still delicious. 🇪🇸 Cafe Ba Ba Reeba My go-to for tapas! Loved the grilled octopus, sausages, and potatoes. Not a fan of their beef dishes though — the meaty taste wasn’t handled very well. 🐂❌ 🍣 Q Sushi Tried both their omakase and tasting menu. The omakase (8/10) was creative and super fresh (some of the best uni I’ve had in the US!). The tasting menu (6.5/10) felt a bit too Americanized — maybe because I went on a weekday, but the ingredients didn’t feel as premium as on weekends. Definitely a neighborhood worth exploring — whether you’re hungry or just looking for a good time!
