🇺🇸 DC|DMV Food Diary 🍽️ — Bodega
Back in Georgetown again! This time trying a Spanish spot in the heart of the neighborhood. Full name: Bodega Spanish Tapas & Lounge 📍 3116 M St NW, Washington, DC 20007, United States 🌟 Paella Marinera con Bogavante The seafood paella 🥘 was pretty tasty—not too undercooked, not overly fishy. The tomato flavor 🍅 was a bit light, but it was loaded with familiar ingredients like lobster 🦞, squid 🦑, shrimp 🦐, mussels 🐚, and more! 🌟 Lamb Chops The lamb chops were seriously delicious—the sauce was aromatic and not too salty. They arrived still sizzling and steaming! 🔥🍖 🌟 Gambas al Ajillo (Garlic Shrimp) The shrimp were tender (seemed like the same kind as in the paella). A bit oily, but perfect with some crusty bread 🥖! Price per person: around $50 💵 Have you been to Bodega? What’s your favorite tapas spot in the DMV?
