🇺🇸 DC 🥐 | Nino's Black Sesame Croissant is Absolutely Incredible! ❤
As a true bread lover, I always research a city's best bakeries before traveling! 🧳✨ When I searched for top croissants in DC, everyone recommended Nino's—and since they had black sesame, one of my favorite flavors, I knew I had to go! 🏃♀️💨 Bad timing though—I arrived Friday afternoon, but they're closed Sunday and Monday, so Saturday was my only chance! 🗓️🙈 🍴 Nino's Bakery 📍 [Address would be inserted here] Besides black sesame, they also have pistachio and almond croissants! I pre-ordered two Black Sesame Almond Croissants 🥐. They looked small in photos, but they were actually quite hefty—so packed with filling that it started leaking a bit by the time I got to the coffee shop! ☕😋 Compared to my beloved black sesame almond croissant from Bibble & Sip in NYC, Nino's version is fluffier, with a richer buttery aroma—more like a traditional French croissant. The black sesame filling here is more fluid, and maybe because of the almond addition, the black sesame flavor isn't as intense—it's nutty, but not purely black sesame. Still, even with the runny filling, the croissant itself stayed super crispy! 👌 Overall, it's delicious as a nut-filled croissant! If I'm back in DC, I'd definitely get it again! 🥰 Have you tried Nino's croissants? Which flavor would you pick?
