🇺🇸 Food|French Cuisine in Washington DC: Brasserie Liberté 🥐✨

Located in the heart of Georgetown, this French bistro offers a charming dining experience. I’ve been twice—once for brunch and once for dinner—and the menus are quite different (brunch doesn’t include duck confit, for example!). It’s a great spot for brunch before shopping in Georgetown 🛍️, or for dinner after a long day of exploring. 🥖🍷 During my brunch visit, the tables were comfortably spaced, but unfortunately, our seating area had a lingering smell of unclean cloths… 😅 • Escargots Sauvages de Bourgogne 🐌: A bit too salty for my taste. • Steak & Egg 🥩🍳: Really good! The beef was tender and flavorful. • Beef Bourguignon Skillet: The meat was soft, but overall the dish was quite salty. Still, my dining partner loved it! During dinner, the atmosphere was livelier—though the tables were placed quite close together. • Duck Confit 🦆: Excellent! Well-seasoned, tender, and delicious—a real highlight. • Cassoulet: Only the duck part stood out (similar to the one in photo 5). It came with just one leg, and the breadcrumbs weren’t my favorite. Overall, the dinner menu—especially the duck—was the winner 🏆. Brunch was just okay for me, and the cocktails were decent but not memorable 🍹. I’d recommend visiting for dinner! 📍 Address: 3251 Prospect Street NW, Washington DC, 20007 Have you been to Brasserie Liberté? What’s your favorite French spot in DC?
