🇺🇸 Garden Grove's Hidden Gem: Kopan Sushi 🍣✨
I often head from Irvine to the Vietnamese area for pho and grocery runs, but this weekend I wanted something different—so I tried Kopan Sushi! Never expected Garden Grove to hide such delicious surprises! 😋 Kopan was already pretty popular in LA, but the Garden Grove branch exceeded my expectations too~ The ambiance has a dark wood aesthetic, cozy and full of vibe, and the service was super attentive. 🏮 Everything I ordered was on point: 🍣 Uni Scallop – Fresh scallop topped with sea urchin and caviar. So sweet and oceanic—one bite and you taste the sea! 🌊 🍜 Kara Miso Ramen – Rich, slightly spicy miso broth, tender chashu, and springy noodles. Comfort in a bowl! 🐟 Truffle Salmon Carpaccio – Salmon slices drizzled with truffle oil. So fragrant and silky—not greasy at all. 🍱 Unagi Donburi – Warm rice bowl with grilled eel. Crispy outside, sweet-savory sauce—so satisfying! 🍣 Dragon Roll – Eel and avocado inside, beautifully layered and flavorful. 🥟 Torikawa Gyoza – Fried chicken skin gyoza—crispy outside, juicy inside, amazing with their dipping sauce. Everything tasted great, but the Uni Scallop and Truffle Salmon truly stood out—absolutely impressive! 👏 📍 10031 Garden Grove Blvd, Garden Grove, CA What’s your go-to sushi order? 🍣❤️ Or have you discovered any hidden food gems in unexpected neighborhoods?
