🇺🇸 I Prefer Washington DC Over New York! 🌳✨

During my US trip, I visited three cities: New York, Philadelphia, and Washington DC. My first impression of DC was how peaceful, clean, and livable it felt. ✅ The metro stations are spotless and not crowded — nothing like NYC! ✅ I love the low-rise buildings, abundant greenery, and open views — so refreshing 🌿 ✅ Even Manhattan (except Central Park) can’t compare to DC’s urban green spaces. Honestly, I found Central Park just okay. 🏙️ On livability: We visited the Lincoln Memorial and Jefferson Memorial around 10-11 PM 🌙, and it felt as safe as back home! I never once worried about safety — no homeless people, no weed smell 🚭, and friendly police everywhere. Safety rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👮♂️ One funny story: At 11 PM, we drove to the Lincoln Memorial but got lost twice at the same intersection. A police officer pulled us over. Knowing US cops carry real guns 🔫, I cooperated fully. He asked why I didn’t stop completely at the sign. I explained I was a tourist 🧳, showed my ID photo on my phone (since I left the physical copy at the hotel), and he ended up giving me directions! So kind! 🎭 Museums: We spent a lot on museums in NY and Philly 💸, but in DC—almost all are FREE! 🆖 There are too many to finish in one trip, and the architecture is stunning 🏛️. The vibe actually reminded me of the UK! 📌 Note: My comparisons are based on city centers. Three days per city is only enough for a quick glimpse, but still— DC is totally worth it!
