šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø Irvine Near LA|Got to Try Fresh Live Octopus from Korea!

I’ve always heard people say, ā€œYou haven’t truly experienced Irvine’s Korean food if you haven’t been to this place!ā€ šŸ˜† The other day, my friends and I were reminiscing about our college days when we’d go to Ktown late at night for live octopus. So I did a quick search and found out this spot actually serves it—had to check it out immediately! 怐Live Octopus怑 The star of the show! šŸ™ They have a fish tank at the front, and the octopus is freshly caught. The staff mentioned it’s imported directly from Korean waters~ I’d heard it might not be available every day, so I made sure to call ahead—would’ve been so sad to miss it! The octopus is cut into small pieces, drizzled with sesame oil, and it’s still moving when served—so bouncy and fresh it even sticks to the plate! 😲 The texture is incredibly chewy and satisfying. They provide a special dipping sauce, but honestly, it’s amazing even without—so pure and delicious! 怐Cold Buckwheat Noodles怑 Perfect for beating the summer heat! šŸ˜Ž We also ordered the triple beef intestine combo, so the chilled buckwheat noodles with radish, mustard, and green onions were super refreshing and cut through the richness perfectly. 怐Triple Beef Intestine Combo怑 A signature dish here! I’ve always loved beef intestine mixes, and I was pleasantly surprised to find it in Irvine—it’s something you usually only see at super authentic Korean spots. The small intestine is rich and fatty, the large intestine is chewy, and the tripe is crispy and bouncy. Grilled on the iron plate with chili powder and scallions—so aromatic! 🤤 We also had rice balls to soak up all the delicious juices from the grill~ Absolutely incredible! The rice balls were a fun surprise—they were even amazing with the sweet and sour sauce from the octopus! I definitely want to try making this at home! During peak hours, I noticed the place was full of Korean customers—always a good sign! šŸ˜„ This restaurant is also famous for its sundae (Korean blood sausage) and sundae soup, plus a variety of seafood dishes~ Can’t wait to come back and try more!
