Terribly bad restaurant experience. I am leaving a review in the hope that you will not have the same experience as me. Even though there were 2-3 empty tables, there were 4 teams waiting. At the table we waited for, there was something that looked like spilled side dishes, as if the table had not even been cleaned. It was a busy restaurant so far, so it was understandable. The food was nothing more than ordinary food with strong seasoning. There was a problem with payment. When I asked to pay as 2:1 with two cards, a middle-aged woman who appeared to be the owner quickly threw a bill plate with the cards on it, muttered something to us, and moved to take another table's order. (I'm not kidding, she THREW the bill and card back on our table and left) As soon as we asked again and paid, she kicked our group out with the excuse that there was a wait outside. Of course, there were two empty tables that had been cleared. Our group didn't make a fuss or cause any trouble, but her attitude made us have a very terrible weekend evening. I won't visit again, but at least I hope you don't have the...
Read moreI have had one good and bad experience with this restaurant
Bad experience Went with 2 toddlers (6 ppl in the group) One person in our group had diabetes Saturday morning. It was busy and it took 10+ minutes to get seated. They were short staffed and we could see that they didn't welcome us because of the little kids we had (they frowned when they saw us) When we asked for the dishes that didn't have carbs such as 수육 they said they were unable to make them.
Sunday evening around 7 We went with a group of 7 adults No wait time Food tasted great. And the waiters were great at refilling kimchi. They were also very kind and attentive. Food tasted great. Even though they had 콩국수 sign everywhere they said they were unable to make the dish.
In short they often have a line Food generally tastes good but they often are not able to make some things on their menu service can be good but the place is not baby...
Read moreIt will be very hard for me to recommend this place to friends and relatives. I don’t plan to revisit in the future.
Despite the main dish being Gukbap which focuses on broth with rice, the amount of rice they provide you is too small. Even when dumping in the entire bowl of rice into main bowl, it’s nowhere to be seen on surface of broth and simply not enough portion.
Maybe I visited at wrong time or too quiet time, the staff were inattentive and there were no refills of side dishes(put up a sign to self serve at least..)
Soondae dishes were also quite small portion, too. Simply the size of soondaes are small to begin with. I didn’t get this type of service from Moobongri location in LA, but this place is just subpar.
Stay away if you can. It’s in a decent location where you can pick and choose other Asian cuisines, so maybe you can pick alternative.
Hope the management wakes up and addresses some of...
