🇺🇸 Joshua Tree Roadside Gem: Incredible Tacos Just Outside the Park!
The spot is literally called Mexican Street Tacos — and wow, was it good! 😋 Super tasty, great value, huge portions, and only a short drive from Joshua Tree’s entrance. Google Maps rating: 4.4 ⭐ — yet somehow it’s still under the radar! The storefront is simple, but inside it’s full of authentic Mexican vibes. Next door is a bowling alley 🎳, which you can actually enter from the taco shop too! Owned by a lovely grandma — feels like a family-run gem with friendly service. We tried tacos, burritos, and quesadillas — all were seriously delicious! Even their Mexican Coke tasted extra sweet 🥤. Compared to San Diego’s famous Tacos El Gordo — honestly, I found this just as good! If you’re visiting Joshua Tree, don’t skip it. 🌮 Tacos: Highly recommend the cheek (cachete) — juicy, tender, and flavorful. I had two and went back for more! The asada is leaner but still tasty. 🌯 Burritos: Massive and delicious — one could easily feed me for two meals! We asked for extra spicy 🌶️ and they did not hold back — Cantonese friends, proceed with caution 😅 But you can fully customize your order, which is awesome! 🫓 Quesadilla: Also delicious, though a bit simpler compared to the tacos and burrito. We ended up taking leftovers for breakfast! 🍗 Chicken Wings: The sauce was thick and spicy — similar to the burrito flavor, so not my top pick, but great for those who love bold tastes. 💰 About $20–30 per person, depending on how much you order. 📍 Address: 73768 Gorgonio Dr, Twentynine Palms, CA 92277 #CaliforniaEats #JoshuaTree #PalmSprings #LosAngeles #USATravel #RoadTripEats #HiddenGem
