Can't even lie, super upset with this place now. Previously 5 stars, busy can't excuse this type of behavior. I have phone records to prove it all as well.... I call and call and call and call and call..... Again and again for 1 entire hour. Phone line is busy. This is the 3rd time I have encountered this here. This is the 1st time I actually bothered to go in person after this same kind of instance. Lady at the front, immediately notice the phone is under the touch screen register.... Cool... Also notice 5 people inside, one being me and 4 others together in line being handled very fast (less than 90 seconds each). I order, no problem. Kitchen isn't freaking in the back either. 2 chefs working, not sweating, professional and efficient as always. I call again after my order, watching the phone still under the cashier's screen. Still busy signal.... What kind of unprofessional joke is this? I even call again, when myself, the cashier and an employee girl stocking the fridge next to the exit being the only people inside and STILL get a busy signal. It's seriously a joke.... Not even tolerable in the slightest. Good food all they got, but that is an unforgivable behavior that is beyond lazy. (Also, I have a land line, it was working fine so there were no issues with the local...
Read moreWhen I was looking for somewhere to eat when visiting Joshua Tree National Park, this seemed like the obvious choice according to Yelp.
They only have two picnic tables and we managed to get one. Most people don't wear masks in this town, so we didn't really want to eat inside.
What we ordered: Lengua, Buche, Beer Battered Fish Tacos Cali Burrito Adrian's Quesadilla Esquite Strawberry Agua Fresca
My favorite things were the quesadilla and the tacos. The al pastor was definitely my favorite meat. The tacos were all really solid. I liked the fish one the best.
The portion sizes are huge, especially the quesadilla and burrito. This was way too much food for us.
The burrito was too much rice for me and not much meat. The Esquite was pretty bad. It was very watery with a ton of mayo. The Agua Fresca tasted like cough syrup to me.
If you need food when visiting Joshua Tree National Park, come here for some tacos and...
Read moreI was very skeptical about trying the food here due to what friends have said about the place but the reviews outweighed the bad, or so I thought. I ordered carne asada and al pastor tacos with a side of rice and beans. I received fries instead of rice, the worker even repeated the order back to me and she said rice. I also ordered an order of chips and salsa and received no salsa, just two little cups of salsa verde y salsa roja. Again, disappointed because I did not receive what I ordered. I called back and the woman said they ran out of big containers so the salsa was placed in the little containers but .. the amount of sauce in those cups definitely is not enough for chips and salsa. I hate to be this person and leave such a review but I am beyond disappointed. Definitely recommend going elsewhere. The only thing I could consume was the cold jarritos I bought. Beans were plain, carne asada and al...
