🇺🇸 La Bise DC Summer Restaurant Week

Michelin Recommended La Bise 📍 800 Connecticut Ave NW Suite 600, Washington, DC 20006, United States Made it just in time for the final weekend of Restaurant Week to try this understated French spot—or more accurately, French-Japanese fusion cuisine! 🍣🥖 The $65/person three-course menu was served much faster than expected—comfortable pacing, no rush at all! ⏱️✨ For the main course, we tried the Loup de Mer (sea bass) and the Steak Frites (with a +$8 upgrade). The fish was tender and perfectly cooked 🐟; the steak was super soft, though the fries were just okay… 🥩🍟 Desserts: The Japanese cheesecake was smooth and not too sweet 🍰; the lemon cake was refreshing at first but got a bit sugary—maybe better for those with a serious sweet tooth! 🍋😋 Total for two after tax and 20% service fee: $171. A satisfying Restaurant Week experience overall! Only regret: The menu didn’t include many classic dishes—saving those for next time! 🙌 Have you been to La Bise?
