🇺🇸 LA Must-Eat List – LA Food Review
Quick reviews of a few restaurants I tried in LA — purely personal opinions, no ads! 1️⃣ IHOP Classic American breakfast — huge portions, hearty calories. First-timers should just order the “unhealthy-looking” items. We had the Big Steak Omelette and Strawberry French Toast — both delicious. Healthier picks like Veggie Egg White were just okay. Pairing pancakes with a giant hot chocolate topped with whipped cream was so satisfying! 🥞☕ 2️⃣ Wood Ranch Went based on recommendations — a classic American BBQ sports bar vibe. Everyone was eating ribs, drinking beer, and watching sports. The Ribeye was grilled rough — medium came out overcooked, tough, and dry. Smoked Brisket was lean with tasty sauce. Best was the Beef Rib (sold by the bone) — well-marbled, tender, and flavorful. 3️⃣ Lawry's The Prime Rib Lawry’s slow-roasted prime rib has a texture closer to braised beef — tender and juicy. Different cuts and thicknesses have their own names, served with rich gravy. More tender than grilled steak. The Spinning Salad is worth ordering for the tableside presentation. Skip the Trio of Lobster — it’s just grilled lobster with Thousand Island dressing. 4️⃣ Bludso's BBQ Randomly picked this Texas-style BBQ spot in Santa Monica — small but surprisingly good! Order by choosing meats and sides. We got Brisket and Pork Ribs — perfectly smoked, crispy outside and juicy inside. Also loved the Potato Salad with Pickles — refreshing and cuts through the richness of the BBQ. 5️⃣ sweetgreen A nationwide healthy bowl chain — ordering is like Subway. If unsure, just pick one of their signature bowls — can’t go wrong! Their ingredient variety, toppings, and dressing options totally outshine most healthy bowls back home. A must-try for a fresh, tasty meal! 🥗 #StudentEats #LAFood #LAMustEat #GlobalFoodies #EatWithMe 🍴
