๐บ๐ธ Living That Effortlessly Chic LA Life for a Few Days ๐ด
A Torontonianโs guide to pretending to be a refined LA local ๐ซก (My wallet is still recovering from the sticker shock ๐ธ๐ ) ๐ฝ Great White A classic celeb-loved brunch spot with multiple locations โจ. Great vibes, solid food โ Iโm a fan of their Margherita Pizza! ๐ ๐ฝ Botanica Silver Lakeโs sunny, plant-filled brunch heaven ๐ฟ. Loved the Turkish Egg & Carrot Cake ๐ฅ๐ฐ, but portions were small for the price ๐ธ. ๐ฝ Osteria Mozza Kendall Jennerโs fave Michelin-starred Italian spot โญ! Must book ahead. ๐ฅ Loved: Branzino & Duck Confit โ incredible! ๐ Pasta was just okay. ๐ฐ ~$100 pp (without drinks) โ totally reasonable! ๐ฝ Soban Michelin-recognized Korean in K-Town ๐ฐ๐ท. ๐ฆ Soy Marinated Crab ($61) ๐ฅฉ Short Ribs ($50) So flavorful! Side dishes were amazing too ๐. A bit pricey but worth it. ๐ฝ Izakaya Osen Cozy Korean-run izakaya ๐ฎ (locations in LA & Irvine). ๐ Loved: Unagi Don & Hamachi Kama ๐ Skip: Toro Uni Bowl โ Maru Coffee Hyped but this timeโฆ not it ๐ฌ. Ethiopian beans were just sour ๐ โโ๏ธ. Slow service, too. ๐ฅค Erewhon Tried the Hailey Bieber smoothie ๐! Tastes natural but $$$. ๐ The bougie grocery store with hidden prices โ fun to browse, dangerous to budget ๐. Pecan Pie was a win though! ๐ IN-N-OUT So affordable! My vote: solid Five Guys dupe ๐๐ฅ. ๐ Current California Obsession: Orange County & Laguna Beach ๐ โ so dreamy, they deserve their own post! Catch you next time, fam ๐๐ป๐ #LALife #LAEats #FoodieDiary #MichelinGuide #BougieOnABudget #TorontoToLA #CaliVibes
