I’d always dreamed of cruising along the California coast at sunset, but during my days in LA, the sun felt just as glaring at dusk as at dawn—less romantic than imagined, yet still beautiful. ✨🌅 I spent four and a half days here and grew to love this city more each day. Bright and sunny, yet surprisingly calm and refreshing—far from the hectic vibe I expected. 🌞💙 👗 What to wear: Full summer outfits during the day, but always carry a light sweater or jacket—it gets cool once you step out of the sun. 🚘 Transportation: Used Uber and Waymo—the self-driving car experience is a must-try! 🤖🚗 Surprisingly smooth and steady, very comfortable even for those prone to motion sickness. ——————————————————————————— 🌟 Day 1: Arrival & Beverly Hills Stayed in the Beverly Hills area—easy to stroll to landmarks like the Beverly Hills Sign and palm-lined streets. 🌴 Tried nearby restaurants: LA Ong was just okay, but Novikov was unexpectedly impressive. 🍽️ 🌟 Day 2: Art, Hollywood & Griffith 1️⃣ The Getty Center Free with online reservation (closed Monday). Van Gogh’s “Irises” is here! Take the cute tram up the hill—the museum is compact but lovely (2–3 hours). 🖼️🚞 2️⃣ Hollywood Sign View Best photo spot is a small platform about 50 meters up the slope from Hollywood Park—better angle, fewer crowds. 📸🌄 3️⃣ Griffith Observatory Go in the afternoon for sunset and city lights—famous La La Land spot. 🎬 Free entry (closed Monday). The “Centered in the Universe” planetarium show is worth it—soothing narration and immersive visuals feel like traveling through space. 🪐💫 🌟 Day 3: Museums & Beaches 1️⃣ LACMA Two large buildings—plan to spend hours here. Buy tickets online in advance. 🎨 Then head to the coast—two very different beaches close to each other: 2️⃣ Venice Beach Bohemian vibes, street performers, quirky shops, and raw energy. 🛹🌊 3️⃣ Santa Monica Pier More polished—small roller coaster, Ferris wheel, and a lively pier atmosphere. 🎡🎢 🌟 Day 4 – Disneyland The California Disney parks are huge!
