The marble interiors and grand rotunda are a photographer’s dream. 📸 ℹ️ Fun fact: It’s the only state capitol built on an isthmus! 🛍️ State Street Pedestrian Mall This vibrant, car-free street connects the Capitol to the UW-Madison campus. Lined with funky boutiques, bookstores, cafes, and public art — it’s buzzing with energy! Bought a vintage Badgers sweatshirt for only $12 and some handmade pottery. Deals everywhere! 🛒🎉 🍁 Bonus: Seasonal Pop-ups & Street Performers Lucky us — we stumbled upon a weekend art fair and a student music festival! 🎶 Bought local honey and a cute plant—all under $10. The vibe was so joyful and community-driven. ☕ Pitstop: Cozy Cafes & Ice Cream Grabbed a pumpkin spice latte at a quirky café and later treated ourselves to Babcock Hall Dairy ice cream — a MUST when in Madison! 🍦 👟 Walkability Score: 100/10 Everything is within walking distance.
