🇺🇸 Madison Midterm Week ๑>ᴗ<๑

Midterm season is here… and it’s been a while since I last went out for a proper walk 🚶‍♀️🍂 Actually, I had to complete a 3-hour hiking assignment for a class to study Madison’s urban landscape — turned out to be the perfect excuse to get some fresh air and snap a few photos! Finally got to take a picture with the Wisconsin State Capitol without a crowd in the background 🏛️✨. The golden hour light made everything look magical! Also — SO! MANY! SQUIRRELS! 🐿️ They’re literally everywhere, doing their cute little sprints and munching on acorns. No fear of humans whatsoever 😂 And I discovered yet another beautiful angle of Lake Mendota 💙— calm, sparkling, and surrounded by fall colors. Madison’s lakes never disappoint. Even though it started as homework, I ended up feeling so refreshed and inspired. Sometimes a long walk really is the best way to clear your head during a busy semester 🍃📚 Sending energy to everyone else grinding through midterms!
