I’m grouping these two together because if you’re only in Memphis for a day or two, they might not be at the top of your must-see list—but each has its charm! 🏞️ Mud Island River Park A. This is where you’ll find the Memphis sign 📍! As someone who loves collecting city sign photos (I even got one in Alaska!), I had to stop by. Fair warning—the sign is smaller than you might expect and a bit tricky to find. B. Don’t fully trust your GPS here—it gets a little confused in Memphis 😅. Just navigate to the Mud Island River Park parking lot. You can’t drive directly to the sign; it’s a short walk from there. C. The parking lot is actually behind the sign, so don’t worry—just keep walking through the park. The place is bigger than it looks, with river views, a model of the Mississippi, and a stage that probably hosts music festivals in the summer 🎵. D. It’s warm and… mosquito heaven 🦟😂. They’re big and hungry! Snap your pics quickly and maybe avoid lingering on the grass. E.
