๐บ๐ธ Museums in Kansas City ๐ผ๏ธ
I visited three museums in Kansas City during spring break! Hereโs a quick recap: 1๏ธโฃ National WWI Museum and Memorial ๐๏ธ $21 ($18 museum entry + $3 tower access) ๐ Open 10amโ5pm (closed Monday) โณ Suggested time: 2 hours ๐ Staff are super friendly! Recommended route: go up the tower first for a panoramic city view ๐๏ธ, then explore the museum. Donโt miss the short intro film! ๐๏ธ 2๏ธโฃ The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art ๐๏ธ FREE entry! ๐ Open 10amโ5pm (closed Tue & Wed) โณ Suggested time: 2โ3 hours ๐ Scan your online reservation code at the kiosk to get a wristband. The collection is incredible โ the Water-Moon Guanyin statue is serene yet powerful ๐ชท, displayed in a temple-style hall. Truly awe-inspiring! 3๏ธโฃ The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures ๐๏ธ $10 general ($5 student ticket) ๐ Open 10amโ4pm (closed Tuesday) โณ Suggested time: 1 hour ๐ A small but unique museum! The miniatures are unbelievably detailed โ they even provide magnifiers ๐ and microscopes! The vintage toys are adorable too ๐งธ ๐ธ Cover photo taken at The Ewing and Muriel Kauffman Memorial Garden โ flowers arenโt in full bloom yet, but it should be gorgeous soon! ๐ท ๐ Also tried the pink pineapple from Hen House โ sweeter than the yellow ones! You can get a free membership card at checkout for discounts. And Iโll leave you with this stunning sunset I saw on my way home ๐๐ #TravelUSA #KansasCity #Museums #SpringBreak #WWIMuseum #NelsonAtkins #ToysAndMiniatures #PinkPineapple
