πΊπΈ Must give a shoutout to the food scene in Aspen! ππ΄
Seriously β not a single restaurant we tried disappointed! Each one brought new surprises! β€οΈποΈ π₯ͺ White House Tavern β βββββ Famous for their sandwiches! The French Dip Au Jus was absolutely incredible ππ Tender beef soaked in rich broth β so good Iβd revisit Aspen just for this! π₯© Duemani β βββββ Maybe because I didnβt have high expectations, but every dish here blew me away! Lamb chops: flavorful and aromatic, no gaminess π Sea bass: super tender and bouncy, with a delicious sauce β their best dish! π Veal chops: so tender we thought it was pork! ππ· π Aspen Hickory House β ββββπ« A local favorite BBQ spot! Very authentic β thereβs even a heavy bear activity warning sign π»β οΈ Locals say bears often show up around 1-2 AM! Their snacks are amazing: onion rings and sweet potato tots are crispy and freshly fried π§ π , and the chicken wings are smoky and juicy! π Home Team BBQ β ββββ A BBQ joint inside a hotel. Their recommended IPAs were great πΊ, and the nachos were super satisfying! But the star was the beef brisket β it literally melted in your mouth! π€€π₯ π₯ French Alpine Bistro β βββ A trendy French spot. Maybe my expectations were too high β it was good but not mind-blowing. The foie gras appetizer and filet mignon were solid. The daily special risotto was creamy and tasty. Best part? The dessert βMidnight in Parisβ β warm crepe with crispy caramel on top! π₯π― π₯ Mawaβs Kitchen β βββ Great service! Food was reliable and cocktails were nice ππΉ π₯π¨ Paradise Bakery β A super popular bakery with long lines! We went 4-5 times during our 6-day trip π Their croissants and muffins have so many options, and the ice cream flavors are delicious β blueberry yogurt and blue cookie are must-tries! Also loved their coffee β Matcha Latte highly recommended! π΅β€οΈ #Aspen #AspenFood #Foodie #TravelColorado #FoodLover #RestaurantReviews #EatLikeALocal ππ²
