šŗšø Must wait 30 minutes in line to eat this brunch in Madison!
Short Stack is definitely one of the best brunch spots in Madison! Even in the freezing cold of -20°C, plenty of locals are willing to wait in line⦠Iāve given up on queuing several times š„¹ In my year living in Madison, Iāve eaten at Short Stack four or five times. Hereās a rundown of my favorite dishesļ½ (Iāve basically never been disappointed!) š³ Eggs Benedict Poached eggs over bacon, grilled meat, and savory biscuits, served with roasted potatoes. Super delicious! The cheese and sauce melt under the eggsārich and flavorfulļ½ š„ Buttermilk Stack Classic pancakesļ½ Best eaten fresh out of the kitchenāwarm, milky, and not too sweet! š« Blueberry Stack Buttermilk pancakes with blueberries baked right in. Sweeter than the original, with a more complex texture. Sometimes the blueberries burst with juice š šÆ Breakfast Burrito Iāve never been a big fan of burritos⦠but theirs is pretty good! Itās just not my thing haha š„© Corned Beef Hash Absolutely delicious!!! The beef is braised until tender and flavorfulāalmost like Chinese marinated beef. Itās stir-fried and baked with roasted potatoes. So fragrant and generous in portionļ½ š Sweet Potato Oatmeal Stack Really good! But itās been a while since I last had it, so my memory is a bit fuzzy haha⦠How can you go wrong with strawberries though!! šµ For drinks, I always order various lemonadesānot the best value though. Their coffee is unique! You can customize and flavor it yourself. Their brew has a hint of cinnamon, so I tried it once and never again š š Short Stack Eatery š° I usually order the small portion because itās more than enough for me. If Iām sharing with a friend, one small plate each is perfectļ½ Around $10-15 per person. #100ChallengesEatery #UWMadison #UniversityOfWisconsinMadison #Brunch #MadisonFood #MadisonEats #AmericanBrunch š„āļø
