🇺🇸 Oklahoma | Oklahoma City (OKC) | University

This time, I went on another road trip with my 🐷 baby! With 🐷 by my side, the journey was anything but lonely. 1⃣️ Our first stop was Oklahoma City, the capital of Oklahoma. 🏙️ OKC has a population of nearly 700,000, plenty of restaurants, an outlet mall for shopping, and a relatively large Asian supermarket. The city is also quite safe, making it a pretty comfortable place to live. 📍 OKC Lighthouse This might be the only must-visit photo spot in OKC. Summer here must be really pleasant—though the winter wind is way too strong! 🌬️ Some people were jogging 🏃 and cycling 🚴 around the lake. 📚 University of Oklahoma I highly recommend visiting the University of Oklahoma's library—it’s especially beautiful! 🏛️ Having seen so many universities in the Midwest, I’d say OU’s library is definitely one of the best in the region. After all, most Midwestern university libraries are way too modern. You could easily spend a whole day in a library like this—I absolutely loved it! 💕 🏨 Best Western Plus or Premium For this trip, I stayed at Best Western Plus or Premium hotels, as well as Holiday Inns—no disappointments at all! A lot of people complain about Best Western, but that’s probably because they didn’t choose the Plus or Premium options. This time, I stayed at several Plus and Premium properties, and most met my basic travel needs: clean, spacious enough to move around, comfortable, and quiet. Plus and Premium are dollars more expensive than regular Best Westerns, but it’s totally worth it! #LiveAndLife #RoadTrip #MidwestUSRoadTrip 🚗💨
