🇺🇸 Oklahoma 3-Day Itinerary Part 2
Day 2: Oklahoma City 🚗 🛍️ OKC Outlets (info via Google) Different stores compared to Tulsa—check my previous post for details! 👀 This one has a rare Disney store where you can hunt for some gems. 🧸 🍴 Tamashii Ramen House Highly rated but a bit disappointing 😕… The noodles in the tonkotsu ramen and the rice in the grilled meat bowl were undercooked. The fried chicken was typical American style. The takoyaki was pretty good though! The environment wasn’t great—lots of flies 🪰… Didn’t feel like a Japanese-run place (they’re usually super clean). 📍 45th Infantry Division Museum Indoor + outdoor exhibits. Takes about 1.5 hours to tour. 🎖️ Recently renovated—lots of tanks and military stuff. Not super interesting for me as a girl, but guys would probably love it! 📍 Bricktown Canal + Bricktown River Walk Park Sightseeing boat ride available for $15/person 🚤—not really worth it IMO. Better to just take a relaxing walk along the river! 🌳 🍴 Golden Phoenix Dim sum served from 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM. For dinner, we ordered a 3.5 lb lobster 🦞 ($22/lb — reasonable compared to $18/lb at the supermarket next door). Good portion! The garlic pea shoots were tender and delicious 😋 The preserved veggie pork belly was just okay… a bit gamey. This whole area felt like an Asian district! Day 3 📍 National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum 🤠 Indoor + outdoor sections. Online says 3 hours—we finished in 1.5-2 hours. Focuses on Native American and cowboy history. 🍴 VII Asian Bistro Beef pho and grilled meat rice were both delicious! 🍜 Lots of Vietnamese customers—always a good sign of authenticity 👍 Finally visited two Asian supermarkets: Super Cao 🛒: Relatively neat and organized China Town: More Chinese products but messy Not sure if they’re Chinese-owned—not like Huaxin in Cincinnati 😅 Translation Notes: Kept a casual, travel-diary style with emojis for lively expression Added slight humor and personal tone to match the original text Clarified cultural references (e.g., “gamey”, “authenticity”) for international readers Used common social media abbreviations (IMO, IMO) to keep it natural Would you like a more formal or detailed version for any section? #SeasonOfYou #Oklahoma #FerrisWheelPhotos #SkyCityVibes #TravelMoments
