🇺🇸 One of Columbus’s Rare Gorgeous Meals
📍 The Guild House Valentine’s Day collided with Game Day — so packed! Had a 7:45 PM reservation but still waited until around 8:15 to be seated… Hangry and annoyed! 😤 But luckily, the food made up for it. Appetizer — Beef Tartare The white sauce and egg yolk complemented each other perfectly. Served with crispy-on-the-outside, butter-soaked baguette slices 🥖 — now a must-order for me at any French-inspired spot. Saw only filet for steak, so decided to try lamb instead.❤️💕 Lamb Chop (not even a main, but portion was generous) Three small chops served with fried rice — sauce leaned sweet, meat was tender. The rice reminded me of Xinjiang-style pilaf — rich and fragrant. Also tried the Lamb Burger — also with that creamy white sauce. Sweet and tangy, balancing the richness of the lamb.😍😁 Layered flavors with each bite — so satisfying! Drinks — Seasonal Cocktail for Two Chef’s special (changes seasonally). This one had a gin base — not usually my thing, but with orange and grapefruit notes, the alcohol wasn’t overpowering. Actually really refreshing! No forced percentage tip — nice touch! 💰 Per person: $50–60 #Food #FoodieLife #EatPretty #ColumbusFood #VibeDining #Columbus #HiddenGemEats
