🥙 Cafe Istanbul – Middle Eastern Flavors in Columbus, OH

Located in Easton, this spot offers delicious and authentic Middle Eastern cuisine with friendly service 🥰. It’s unique and totally worth a special trip! (Note: There’s a restaurant with the same name in Dublin — not the same owner.) The Easton location has lovely river views 🌊, though I did get food poisoning after eating here in 2022 😬 (not 100% sure it was from here, but be cautious!). Still, I genuinely enjoy the food and highly recommend giving it a try. 🍽️ What We Tried ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Complimentary Bread Soft, warm bread served with chili oil — a simple but satisfying start that made my Chinese taste buds very happy! 🌶️🍞 ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Mixed Grill Kebab – $40.95 A generous platter with chicken, beef, and lamb kebabs, served with grilled veggies and rice. So flavorful and filling — would be even better with a sprinkle of chili powder! 😉 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Swordfish Kebab – $26.95 Marinated swordfish grilled over an open flame — tender, smoky, and served with rice and vegetables. A perfect dish! 🐟🔥 ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Lahmacun (Turkish Pizza) – $25 A thin, soft crust topped with minced lamb and fresh veggies. Light on sauce and no cheese — tasty and feels healthy! ❤️❤️❤️ Lamb Shank – $29 A weekend special, but seemed reheated — still cold near the bone ❄️. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Lamb Shish Kebab with Yogurt – $23 Grilled lamb paired with yogurt sauce — surprisingly delicious with minimal gaminess! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Beef Tenderloin Shish Kebab – $21 Marinated beef grilled to smoky perfection — tender inside, crispy outside.
