🇺🇸 Richmond folks are just TOO blessed 😭❤️
Honestly, what’s the difference between living here and being back home?! Amazing food everywhere. Skiing in winter 🎿, camping in summer ⛺️… Life here is just too good! And now… two of my all-time favorite restaurants have JOINED FORCES! 😍 Half & Half Noodle House has moved into Mu Wu Charcoal BBQ — now offering lunch service with noodles, stir-fries, and skewers all under one roof. We ate like royalty (plus took home two meals worth of leftovers) and the bill was only around $100. Pure happiness! 🥰 Here’s what we tried👇: 🍗 Golden Tiger Braised Chicken A HUGE plate of tender chicken in a rich, slightly sweet and spicy sauce. I’d heard about this famous chain back in China — never tried it till now! Definitely order mild unless you’re ready for some heat 🌶️. 🍜 Chongqing Pea Noodles (Wanzhamian) A specialty I missed back home — but finally tried abroad! Chewy handmade noodles coated in savory sauce with peas, minced pork, soybeans, a fried egg… one bite = instant joy 🥢💖 🥩 Chongqing Flaming Beef Skewers New item! Super fresh beef skewers covered in secret spicy seasoning and scallions. Fiery, numbing, totally addictive — my friend even finished the leftover seasoning! 🔥 🍢 Signature Lamb Skewers A classic from Mu Wu — you can’t go wrong! Marinated, charcoal-grilled till crispy outside and juicy inside. Perfect with beer 🍻… almost feels like I’m back in China 🥹 🐂 Couple’s Beef Slices (Fūqī Fèipiàn) Beef and tripe tossed in aromatic chili oil with a touch of Sichuan pepper. The meat is extra tender and rich here — better than most places! Alright… after this feast, it’s time to start dieting 😂✋ Can’t let Richmond’s food scene ruin my fitness goals lol. From now on — only one dine-in per week!
