🇺🇸 Savannah Travel Guide

🇺🇸 Savannah Travel Guide | Find a Peaceful Summer in the American South 🍃 Charleston and Savannah are often mentioned together 🍃 I visited Charleston earlier this year but hadn’t made it to Savannah until last month—when I stumbled upon some stunning photos of the city and instantly got inspired! So I packed my bags for a spontaneous weekend trip~ 💼✨ 💡 Stayed three nights: left Saturday morning, returned Tuesday evening. Spent one night on the hidden gem Jekyll Island (highly recommend! Let me know if you’d like a separate guide 👀), and two nights exploring Savannah. ✅ Verdict? I absolutely LOVED it—even more than Charleston! Here’s what won my heart 🥰: 1️⃣ Evening walks by the river 🌉: uncrowded streets, golden sunset views, followed by a slow stroll to dinner under soft city lights. Passed so many beautiful buildings—the vibe was pure bliss. 2️⃣ Leopold’s Ice Cream 🍦: their flavor selection is insane! Must-try: Tutti Frutti. 3️⃣ Mrs. Wilkes’ legendary Southern family-style dining 🍗: so fun and SO delicious! ⚠️ be prepared to wait in line for an hour!). Also loved the vintage shops nearby and the charming tree-shaded houses. 4️⃣ Stayed in the Ellis Square View Suite at Andaz Savannah 🏙️: waking up to colorful neighborhoods and watching the sun set over the park below truly lifted my mood every day! 5️⃣ Evening strolls in Forsyth Park 🌳: iconic fountain, grand Southern oak trees, golden-hour architecture, and the breathtaking Cathedral Basilica. Also passed the Forrest Gump square (though the bench has been moved to the Savannah History Museum~) 6️⃣ Broughton Street at night 💡: softly lit lamps, peaceful and safe—Savannah is truly a walker’s paradise. 7️⃣ Also visited the famous Wormsloe Oak Avenue 🌿—so dreamy! 🍽️ Loved: Mrs. Wilkes, Savannah Smokehouse, Sorry Charlie’s, Treylor Park 🚫 Skip: Savannah Seafood Shack #USTravel#NorthAmericaTravel#TravelGuide#WeekendGetaway#Savannah#Charleston
