🇺🇸 Seattle Food Review
Seoul Mates ⭐️ The Gist 1️⃣ Cuisine: Korean-inspired 2️⃣ Area: Seattle – Capitol Hill 3️⃣ Visits: 1 4️⃣ My Take: The vibe is modern nightclub 🍸 with big sliding windows perfect for people-watching. Open late for dinner + drinks (very Capitol Hill). But heads up—no complimentary banchan (Korean side dishes) here! 📝 King County Health Score Not yet rated (as of Oct 2025) 🍽️ What We Tried ➡️ Kimchi Squid Jeon | $14 Crispy kimchi & squid pancake bites 🦑—smaller than usual, easy to share! Crunchy outside, soft inside. ➡️ Chicken Wings | $18 Fried chicken wings 🍗 with basil in the batter! Options: plain, sweet-spicy, creamy onion, or honey butter (+$3). Sauced versions > plain. ➡️ Kal-bi-jjim | $65 Braised beef short ribs 🐂—tender but sweet & American-style. Cooked with shiitake mushrooms (unusual twist!). ➡️ Spicy Pork | $18 Stir-fried pork shoulder 🌶️ with onions, mushrooms, and scallions added in two stages for layered flavor. Portion’s a bit small. ➡️ Yuk-gae-jang | $19 Spicy beef brisket soup 🍲 with fernbrake & glass noodles. Really spicy! Rice is extra (ask your server). ➡️ Matcha Tiramisu | Price ??? Red bean filling—not too sweet! 🍵 ➡️ Virgin Mojito | $9 Fresh lime & mint mocktail 🍃 ➡️ Tropical Sunrise | $8 Pineapple + orange juice 🍍🍊 with grenadine. Alcohol-free! 📍 Find It Seoul Mates Evolve Apartments, 954 E Union St, Seattle, WA 98122 Open daily 5PM–2AM 🕔 🅿️ Parking Street parking or paid lots only.
