🇺🇸 Sedona | ✨ Elote
Elote Cafe 📍350 Jordan Rd, Sedona, AZ In a nutshell: This upscale Mexican restaurant in Sedona is incredibly hard to get into — but totally lives up to the hype! The food is refined, flavorful, and absolutely worth the effort. 🙌 💯 My Ratings (out of 10): Taste: 9/10 Ambience: 8/10 Value: 7/10 Overall: 9/10 Sedona itself is stunning — a spiritual haven and a hiker’s paradise! 🏜️ Of all the places I’ve traveled in the US, this is one I’m already dreaming of revisiting. Now, let’s talk about Elote Cafe! This place is so popular I had to book a month in advance ⏳ — and they don’t even let you in early on the day of your reservation. Now that’s demand! 🍽️ What We Ordered: 🌽 Elote (Signature Corn) A must-order! Classic Mexican street food — grilled corn slathered in creamy mayo, chili powder, cheese, and lime. Savory, slightly spicy, and totally addictive! Served with crispy tostadas for dipping. 🐑 Lamb Adobe My personal favorite! Slow-cooked lamb shank so tender it falls apart. The sauce is rich but doesn’t overpower the natural flavor of the lamb. Perfect for lamb lovers! 🦆 Duck Carnitas A bit disappointing 😕… The sauce was overly tangy, and the duck itself was slightly dry and gamey. The guac and salsa helped, but it didn’t meet expectations. 🍰 Pastel de Elote The perfect ending! A cast-iron skillet corn cake — crispy outside, soft inside — drizzled with syrup and paired with ice cream. Hot and cold, sweet and savory… pure bliss! 🍨💖 🌮 Little Extras: All meats come with unlimited rice, beans, and tortillas — DIY taco time! 🌯 Complimentary chips and salsa are also bottomless — thin, crispy chips with a smooth, dip-friendly salsa. 📌 Final tip: Book early — like, really early! Don’t miss the Elote corn and the lamb. And save room for dessert! #MexicanFood #Sedona #FoodReview #TravelUSA #EloteCafe
