🇺🇸 Sedona Hiking Guide 🌟 3 Trails to Explore
Sedona’s famous energy vortexes drew me in during spring break 🌿⚡️. While I didn’t exactly “feel the energy,” the hiking trails were amazing — and surprisingly, even after long days of hiking, I wasn’t sore the next morning! Day 1 ☀️ 🥾 Boynton Canyon Trail (to Subway Cave) Round trip: 7.6 km Look for the branch arrow marking the turnoff to Subway Cave → follow it! Most of the trail is flat with occasional shade ☀️🌳 (avoid midday in summer — it gets HOT). The final climb to the cave requires scrambling. I went up the front and down the cliff side — and the cliff path was much easier! It’s not too exposed, so don’t worry. 👟 Grippy shoes are a MUST! 🌉 Devil’s Bridge Started from Dry Creek Trailhead → 3.9 miles round trip. The beginning is flat and easy. The real climb starts near the bridge. A bit of scrambling at the end, but totally doable. Went around 4-5 PM — plenty of light, and the line for photos was only about 15 minutes. We took pics 3 times! 📸 Day 2 ☁️ ⛪ Chapel of the Holy Cross Beautiful from the outside! You can skip going in — the view from the parking lot is enough for great photos. 🧱 Cathedral Rock HIGHLY RECOMMENDED — my favorite trail! Short but steep — you’ll use your hands often. Coming down? You might use your butt too 😄 The view at the top is incredible, and the whole climb is fun and engaging. If you’re moderately fit, give it a try! You’ll feel proud afterward. 🍽️ Food Recommendations Cowboy Club: Try the bison steak and cactus fries (get the sampler!) 🤠🌵 Hideaway House: Great outdoor seating with awesome views. Pizza and wings were delicious! 🍕🍗 Sedona’s trails are magical with or without the “vortex vibes”. Whether you’re here for the views, the challenge, or just the desert air — it’s totally worth it! 💫 #Sedona #Arizona #Hiking #TravelUSA
