🇺🇸 So Grateful to the Servers at This Korean Restaurant

Headed from Irvine to Hsi Lai Temple for blessings and stopped by Rowland Heights for food. This hidden Korean gem surprised me in the best way: 💗 Galbi Jjim (Braised Beef Short Rib Stew) – Great value and even tastier than Sunnongdan! 😲 The meat was fall-apart tender, rich but not greasy. The pumpkin, rice cakes, and glass noodles soaked up all the delicious sauce. Better quality meat and better price—highly recommend! 💗 Service was unexpectedly heartwarming – My little one was bouncing around as soon as we walked in, even went to grab lollipops 🍭 The servers not only helped pick out flavors for him but also took turns keeping him entertained. Later, they even gave him ice cream to keep him seated… truly above and beyond! 🍲 What We Ordered: 🥘 Daejang Galbi Jjim (Braised Beef Rib Stew) A classic Korean stew—server helped cut the meat off the bone. The broth was deeply flavorful, beef melted in the mouth, and the pumpkin and rice cakes were perfectly cooked. Glass noodles were a highlight—soaked in all that goodness! 🐮 Soondubu with Beef (Spicy Soft Tofu Stew) Classic Korean spicy soup—moderately spicy, slow-cooked until the beef was tender. Warm, fragrant, perfect for cold days. 👌 Now I get why this chain has 140 locations in Korea: ✔️ Broth is rich yet refreshing—slow-simmered and deeply aromatic. ✔️ Huge portions & great value—the stew could easily feed 2–3 people. 🚗 Willing to drive from Irvine to Rowland Heights just for this spot! #CaliforniaLife #KoreanFood #RowlandHeightsEats #RowlandHeights #LAKoreanFood
