Chubby Tea is an absolute gem nestled inside Chubby Cattle in Rowland Heights, and it’s quickly become our go-to spot! My family and I dine here often—at least once a month—and it’s always a treat. Chubby Tea is the perfect complement to a hearty hot pot or KBBQ meal, providing delicious and refreshing drinks without needing to make an extra stop.

The atmosphere here is as enjoyable as the food. I’ve noticed that the staff has very low turnover, which speaks volumes about the work environment. The employees seem genuinely happy to be there, and it reflects in their service. Over our last couple of visits, we were lucky to be served by Memo, who delivered exceptional service. Memo was attentive, friendly, and quick to make recommendations, which made our experience even more enjoyable.

The drinks at Chubby Tea are fantastic and offer a perfect end to a rich, savory meal. The quality is consistently good, and there’s a great variety of options to choose from, whether you’re craving a classic milk tea, fruit tea, or something unique.

Chubby Tea inside Chubby Cattle has truly elevated the whole dining experience. Instead of looking for a tea spot after we’re full, we can just order here and relax while enjoying great drinks. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chubby Cattle—don’t miss out on the...

Where do I even begin with this abomination of a boba tea shop? Let's start with their so-called "strawberry oolong tea." I swear, I've tasted better concoctions from the back of a rusty dumpster. Instead of using strawberry flavoring like most shops would, they attempted to use real strawberries but decided to throw in strawberry leaves. Yes, you heard that right, leaves. It was like drinking a cup of grass clippings mixed with dirty dishwater.

And as if that wasn't bad enough, they had the audacity to dump in enough sugar to give Willy Wonka a toothache. I specifically asked for less sugar because I didn't want to feel like I was drinking a syrupy mess, but apparently, they mistook "less sugar" for "bathe it in sweetness until it's practically undrinkable."

To top it all off, the service was slower than a sloth with a hangover. I had to wait so long for my order that I started to wonder if they were growing the strawberries and brewing the tea leaves from scratch in the back room.

Save yourself the trauma and avoid this place like the plague. Unless you enjoy the taste of disappointment and regret, in which case, knock yourself out. But don't say I...

I was drawn to this boba shop because of its high ratings and very reasonable prices! Located inside Chubby Cattle, you don’t need to dine at the restaurant to order here.

Here’s what I tried:

Osmantheous Oolong Milk Tea with Boba (less sugar, less ice): This was fantastic! The tea-forward flavor was exactly how I like my milk tea, and the boba had just the right texture—not too chewy and not overly sweet. I’d definitely order this again.

Strawberry Oolong Tea (less sugar, less ice): A little on the sweeter side for my taste, but still a great deal at just $2.99.

To my surprise, they were running a buy-two-get-one-free special during Christmas week! The third drink that was part of the promotion was an Iced Strawberry Matcha, which was quite sweet but still a nice addition to the experience.

Overall, this spot offers great value and drinks—I’d...
