🇺🇸 Staying Experience at Grand Hyatt Washington 🏨✨
I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt Washington. Here are the key points from my experience: 1️⃣ Stayed for 4 nights. Everywhere we went—including the metro—was very clean, which was a world of difference compared to New York. 🚇🧹 2️⃣ The Grand Hyatt has an excellent location! It’s within walking distance of the White House, the Capitol, and other major attractions 🏛️👣. There are also many museums nearby. The hotel even has its own metro station entrance downstairs—perfect for getting to farther destinations, including the airport ✈️. They offer a single-day metro pass for around $10–15. 3️⃣ During check-in, we learned that the Grand Hyatt Club had just reopened after renovations. We tried it and were impressed—both breakfast and dinner were much better than the usual Hyatt Place offerings 🍳🥂. 4️⃣ A small hiccup: I later found out that you have to call Hyatt customer service before check-in to add Club access to your reservation. If you check in first and try to add it later, some strict front desk staff may not allow it 📞⚠️. 5️⃣ We booked 5 nights but only stayed 4, leaving early on the evening of the fourth day to return to California. Later, I realized the hotel hadn’t refunded the fifth night—nor had they counted it as a qualifying night toward my Hyatt membership 🧾❌. It felt like paying for nothing. After calling to explain, they compensated us with some points. Overall, the Grand Hyatt Washington offered a pretty good stay! 👍 #WashingtonDC #GrandHyatt #HotelReview #TravelTips #DCHotels #LuxuryStay #HyattMember #WhiteHouseArea #MetroAccess #ClubLounge #TravelSmart #VisitDC
