πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Sunnyvale, CA | JangTu Restaurant 🍲

πŸ“ JangTu Restaurant 1012 E El Camino Real, Sunnyvale, CA 94087 Last night was rainy and chilly, so we looked up Korean spots for something warm β€” found this place on social media and decided to give it a try! 🫑 πŸ– Dwaeji Galbi Kimchi Jjim – $45.99 We accidentally ordered the version without potatoes (my friend ordered while I was in the restroom πŸ˜…), but it was still delicious! The broth tasted authentic Korean β€” maybe because we got the kimchi stew version. The meat though β€” first bite was okay, but the closer to the bone, the better it got! Tender, fall-off-the-bone, and surprisingly sweet and flavorful by the end. After finishing the meat, the staff used the leftover sauce to make fried rice β€” kimchi flavor was strong and tasty! 🏠 Vibe: Staff were all friendly Korean aunties. The restaurant felt a bit dated and not super polished, but it was cozy and comfortable. Parking was easy. βœ… Verdict: Tasty! Next time I’ll order the version with potatoes β€” I bet it’ll be even better. Would come back to try other dishes too! #BayArea #FoodReview #KoreanFood #IrvineLife #EatPlayExplore #TravelEats πŸ₯˜
