🇺🇸 The Ultimate Houston Guide — All You Need for a Short Trip!
If you have two days in Houston, don’t miss these highlights — from space exploration to amazing food 🚀🍖 🛸 Space Center Houston A must-visit for space lovers — and still awe-inspiring even if you’re not! Highlights: U.S. moon missions, space station exhibits, Mars programs, and more. Besides the main hall, don’t miss these 3 tram tours: 🚀 Rocket Park Tour Get up close to the Saturn V rocket — the largest ever built. ⭐ Highly recommended! Go early to avoid long afternoon lines. After the tram, you can walk to the outdoor Independence shuttle exhibit. 🖥️ Mission Control Tour 📌 Book in advance! The tram takes you to NASA’s working facility where the Apollo missions were guided. You’ll hear original recordings — immersive but more “cinematic” than educational. Not ideal for young kids — requires patience and quiet attention. 👨🚀 Astronaut Training Facility Tour Requires reservation at the service counter. A bit boring — skip unless you’re a hardcore fan. ⏳ Plan a full day here. 🎟️ Tip: If you have an ASTC-member museum membership back home, you may get free admission for 2 adults + 2 kids! 🎓 Rice University Known as the "Harvard of the South" — beautiful campus with photogenic arches like Stanford’s. Historic spot: JFK gave his moon speech here in 1962 — the podium is still on the main square! 🌊 Waterwall Park Perfect for that iconic Instagram shot 📸💧 🍖 Food — Let’s Talk Texas BBQ! The Pit Room — their brisket and beef ribs are juicy and tender. Highly recommended! 🥢 Chinese Food in Houston Ranked among the best in the U.S. (after NY & LA). 🦆 Bamboo House — try the roasted duck. Good flavor, generous portions. Don’t overorder! 🌟 Ming’s Noodle House (Sugar Land) — 10/10 Chaozhou-style dishes! Located in the Hmart plaza. Their braised platter, stir-fried ho fun, and seafood congee are all delicious — even better than some Bay Area spots! 🛣️ Two days is perfect for Houston. Then hit the road to Austin 🎸 or San Antonio🌵, or continue the adventure to New Orleans! 🎷 #HoustonTravel #Texas #USRoadTrip #SpaceCity #FoodieGuide #TravelUSA #VisitHouston 🇺🇸✨
