🇺🇸 Washington, DC | Budget-Friendly “Orange Americano” ☕️

Shop Name: Unido 📍 Washington, DC 📖 Known for specializing in Panamanian coffee, this spot has super high ratings—so I came with high hopes… and left a little disappointed, lol 😅 Tucked inside a Latin food hall near the entrance, it’s cozy and has a warm, almost Japanese-inspired vibe—way better than the usual industrial style! Their signature drink is the Orange Americano, but honestly… it fell short for me. The flavor was pretty basic—barely any orange taste, just plain sweet. Like a sugary Americano that made me double-check Google Maps to see if I was in the right place 🧐 That said, the atmosphere totally saved it! The food hall itself is filled with upscale Latin restaurants (Peruvian, Colombian, Mexican, etc.—all $), and there’s a spacious bar in the center. Bright, open, full of people working or casually drinking—great vibes! There was even someone outside showing off their pet alpaca… 🦙 💯 Google Rating: 4.8 (646 reviews) 🤔 My Take: Most of the rave reviews highlight the service, atmosphere, and orange latte—maybe it’s just a taste difference? 🇺🇸🆚🌏 Have you tried Unido’s Orange Americano? Or do you have a favorite coffee spot in DC that never disappoints?
