🇺🇸 Washington D.C. Travel | 2 Days of Free Attractions! ⛲️🌸

Spring break in March is the perfect time to visit — the cherry blossoms are blooming everywhere! 🌸 Washington is clean, safe, and can be explored in just 2 days. Best of all? Almost everything is FREE! Here’s your easy-to-follow guide: Day 1: National Mall CityWalk 🚶♀️ All the major sights are within one park — just walk from one end to the other! 📍 Lincoln Memorial A grand monument with a seated statue of Lincoln and inscriptions of his speeches. Quick photo stop — 10 mins max! ⏳📸 📍 Washington Monument Right ahead from the Lincoln Memorial — perfect photo spot! 😍 Sadly, the Reflecting Pool was drained during my visit 💧… but it’s usually stunning! 📍 White House A small white building (yes, really!). Often see news reporters broadcasting out front! 🎤🏠 📍 U.S. Capitol Magnificent architecture 😍 I happened to visit when the President was there — police and security everywhere! Usually you can walk closer, but it was blocked that day. Day 2: Museums & Georgetown 🏛️☕ 📍 Georgetown 20-min drive from downtown. Cobblestone streets, cute cafés, boutiques, and great photo spots. Perfect for a sunny day! 🌞👒 📍 National Museum of Natural History So fun! Exhibits include mammals 🐘, ocean life 🐋, human evolution 🧠, butterflies 🦋, and gems 💎. Also a filming location for Night at the Museum! 🎬🍿 💓 Final Thoughts: D.C. is now one of my top 3 favorite U.S. cities! Beautiful, walkable, educational, and budget-friendly. Late March = peak cherry blossoms — don’t miss it! 🌸 🏨 Hotel Recommendation: YOTEL Washington D.C. — next to the Capitol, with views of the building from some rooms 🏛️🛏️. Only $150-$200 per night 🤑. Young vibe, great sleep, friendly service. Highly recommend! 💖 #Citywalk #WashingtonDC #DCtravel #TravelUSA #FreeAttractions #CherryBlossom #TravelGuide
