🇺🇸 Washington DC｜I HAVE A DREAM

Spent an afternoon visiting the White House, the Washington Monument, and the Lincoln Memorial. Compared to the “giant countryside” vibe of Canada 🍁, the streets of DC felt more polished and diverse. Standing exactly where Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his speech, I could take in the full view of the Reflecting Pool and the Washington Monument. At the same time, this nation built on freedom and democracy is truly home to some of the most… abstract people on the planet 😂… Right outside the White House, a Black man was lounging in a chair, blasting the Chinese national anthem 🎵🇨🇳 on loop from his speaker—prompting a chorus of “WTF” from every Chinese person nearby. Not far from him, another guy was selling parody Trump merch, including a baseball cap that read “Trump knows everything” 🧢🤯. The security guards, bundled up like polar bears 🐻‍❄️, seemed completely unfazed by it all… Only in America. Land of the free 💥🗽 #Travel #LifeSharing #USATravel #WashingtonDC #Photography
