🇺🇸 Washington DC | Pet-Friendly Hotel MUST-STAY! 🐾✨

Choosing a hotel for our DC trip was so stressful— The Waldorf prices were crazy high 💸 So we went with The Hay-Adams instead (under $500/night after tax!) And OMG—best decision EVER! From the moment we walked in: ✨ 1-2 staff greeting us at the door 👑 (felt like royalty!) ✨ Our luggage guy personally escorted us to the room + gave us two full hotel tours 🧳 (We tipped $10 when he left—he treated us like VIPs after that 😂) And get this—since not many pups were staying, the front desk memorized my dog’s name 🐶💖 Every time we passed the lobby, they’d say hi to him! 🥹 Even other guests were super friendly—smiles, hellos, and puppy pets everywhere! We asked for slippers… The staff immediately wrote it down 📝 and reminded us 3x: "If they’re not in your room, CALL US—we’ll bring them right up!" But guess what? Turn-down service had already left 4 slippers + 2 bottled waters 💦👟 And because I’d emailed about our pup ahead: 🐾 Dog bed 🐾 Fresh water 🐾 Two bowls …were all waiting in the room! 🏡 (Rare to find service this good in the US!) Only downside? Their rooftop is now private-events only 😭 But they offer free bikes 🚲 + it’s a 7-8 min walk to the White House!
