🇺🇸 Washington DC | Sharing My Favorite Hotel From This Trip!

Waiting at the airport and finally have some time to write about the hotel I loved most on this East Coast trip! 🛫💖 I totally blind-booked this one on Expedia—it’s been six years since my last visit, so my memory of the city was pretty fuzzy. But wow, DC left a great impression this time: so clean it almost didn’t feel like the U.S.! 😄✨ When I saw this hotel’s high ratings, great value, and perfect location, I went for it—and I’m so glad I did! 🙌 May is considered a mini-peak season with lots of students in town for graduations🎓. During my stay, there were private events going on downstairs both nights, but it was still nice and quiet—the hotel's located in the embassy district, peaceful but central! 🌳🏛️ You can walk to several major attractions in about 20 minutes 🚶♀️, and the metro and bus stops are close by too. Only valet parking is available though, at $64 per night 💸💸. 🍴🍸 There’s a restaurant and bar on the first floor. Since I didn’t feel like going out (parking is such a hassle!), I ordered room service both nights. The short rib was just okay, but the NY Strip was tasty! 🥩 Drink prices were surprisingly reasonable—some cocktails were even single-digit priced! 🍹👌 🐶🐱 Pet-friendly alert! The front desk even offers free dog treats—how cute is that? 🐾❤️ 📍 Lyle Washington DC 1731 New Hampshire Ave NW, Washington, DC 20009, United States P.S. My Uber driver highly recommended an Italian place in Georgetown she said is a must-try! 🍝 Sadly, I didn’t have time this visit—writing it down so I remember next time!
