🇺🇸 Weekend Getaway in NJ: Atlantic City → Cape May 🚗🌊
📍 Atlantic City ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5) 🍜 Food: Highly recommend Pho Sydney – super tasty Vietnamese noodles! A big bowl is around $17 with generous portions. We tried the special beef pho and seafood pho – both were flavorful and satisfying. 🏖️ Beach: A bit dirty, and there was a strong smell of weed in the air. You can bring some chips to feed the seagulls though! 🎰 Casinos: Quiet during off-peak season – most visitors stayed inside the hotels. 🛍️ Shopping: Visit the outlets for brands like Ralph Lauren, Coach, Michael Kors, and more. 📍 Cape May ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) 🦞 Food: The Lobster House is a must-visit! Super fresh seafood – I especially loved the shrimp tails. If you’re lucky, you can snag a table by the window with ocean views. Service was great too! Total for two: around $150. 🌊 Beach: Much cleaner here, with a gentle, refreshing sea breeze. Even on a cloudy day in March, it wasn’t too cold – a wool coat was enough. ⚠️ Tip: Many shops close during the off-season. Call ahead before heading out – we encountered 4-5 closed places along the way. ✅ Trip Summary: This 1.5-day itinerary is perfect for a weekend escape! To save on tolls, expect to add ~30 mins to your drive. #NewJersey #WeekendVibes #StudyInTheUSA #WeekendEscape #GlobalStudentLife
