πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ What I Ate in Kansas City in 3 Days & 2 Nights πŸ–πŸ·πŸ₯›

Here’s my Kansas City food journey – a mix of famous BBQ, surprising German cuisine, and local drinks! πŸ– Q39 Lived up to the hype! Huge portions – I ordered brisket + ribs with veggies 😜 Also tried their famous onion rings – a giant plate for just a few bucks! πŸ§…πŸ’΅ Very thin-cut, well-seasoned (a bit salty though). The ribs were better than the brisket – tender and fall-off-the-bone. Plus, the bartender was… quite a sight πŸ‘€: classic Midwest vibe, all in black, tattoo sleeves, blond side-part, and, well… let’s just say he had personality πŸ˜‰ πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ Affare Upscale German food in KC – who knew? I had the seasonal white asparagus soup – creamy and subtly sweet πŸ₯£ Main course: duck liver + scallops – so rich and flavorful Paired with a Riesling – my favorite white wine 🍷 with notes of pear, apple, and honey Finished with Black Forest cake – not too sweet! πŸ’ Couldn’t finish it, so I took it to go… best breakfast ever the next day! πŸ₯› Shatto Milk Tried the famous local Shatto milk – no need to go to Hen House, it’s sold in most supermarkets here πŸ₯› Had the chocolate and strawberry flavors – both delicious and not overly sweet! πŸ“πŸ« πŸ– Jack Stack For $15, you get a massive portion of sausage and burnt ends (the famous BBQ crusts) But honestly… it was too greasy for me. Couldn’t finish it. Overall? I think I’m good on American BBQ for a while πŸ˜… Seeing so many overweight people on the streets really makes you want to eat a salad πŸ₯—πŸ’” #KansasCityEats #KCFood #BBQ #GermanFood #FoodReview #TravelDiary #KansasCity #Foodie
