🇺🇸Alaska Must-Try Eats
📍Inferno Seafood Boil (Anchorage) 10/10 recommendation!! Insanely delicious—like a Western version of spicy mixed seafood. The buttery aroma and rich sauce alone are mouthwatering🤤 Skip the original flavor (it’s just plain butter!). 💕 👀Go for the most popular Workz sauce, it’s absolutely divine👍 The fried noodles are great too—total comfort for bold flavor lovers! A table next to us was celebrating a birthday with a huge platter, looked so satisfying😂 It’s super popular so expect a wait—book ahead!👣 📍Wild Scoop (Anchorage)🍉 Local Alaska ice cream spot, came for the Sitka Swirl Baked AK Cone (it’s so pretty!).🌳🌳 Torched marshmallows on top with creamy milk notes, paired only with cinnamon ice cream—these two cozy fall/winter flavors are a perfect match! Got a double scoop and it’s massive (around $10+), slightly salty and not too sweet at all.🌼🌼 📍Ray’s Waterfront (Seward)☘️ Another spot with a wait but totally worth it. Right by the dock with great views—our two rice bowls look simple but taste amazing. 🙉🙉 I loved the cod bowl more than the king crab one: the fish is super tender, the sauce is light yet flavorful, and paired with fluffy rice, it’s just pure comfort and satisfaction.🍐🎼 📍The Highliner Restaurant Came for lunch, no wait but only bar seating available. The food is just okay overall—way too bland with little flavor.😍😍 Great vibe though, there’s a comedy show playing on the TV at the bar. 🙉🙉 🌷🌷Not ideal for brunch lovers with a sweet tooth—I only got a hot cocoa😢 But the clam chowder was a pleasant surprise: thick, rich, and loaded with real clams—actual creamy chowder! 📍Alaska Crepery (Anchorage) A walk-in creperie in Anchorage Downtown, the French toast crepe I got is such a fun twist.🌹 Fluffy marshmallow texture in every bite, with a hint of sweet cheese maybe?🍙🍙 🍆🍆📍Glacier Brewhouse (Anchorage) Grabbed takeout here—the bread pudding is insanely rich and filling, one bite is like two bowls of rice! Topped with cream sauce and pecans, it’s my new favorite.🍓🍓 🍑🍑 The brownie from the plane was surprisingly amazing when cold lmao #AlaskaTravel #AlaskaFood #FoodieDiary
