🇺🇸DC | Beautiful Meal at Succotash 🥂

Haven't had a little buzz in a while! After a school event, I was starving and headed straight to the restaurant! 🏃♀️ By 6:30 PM, Succotash was already packed. Luckily, we found seats at the bar on the second floor. The medium-rare ribeye was super tender, and the side of fries was perfectly crispy. The BBQ pork chop with risotto was absolutely incredible – the smoky and sweet flavors were perfectly balanced, and it went so well with the rice! 👍 We also ordered the crab cake – the crab meat was tender, and we finished every bite. The peach & tomato salad was just okay, tasting pretty much like the ingredients themselves. For three people, with three drinks, plus tax and tip, the total came to $240 – I think that's pretty reasonable! ~ I had a whiskey sour; the alcohol taste was a bit strong, but it was nicely balanced with sweet and sour notes. This place is really perfect for a date! 💖 After dinner, we moved to the bar across the street called Silver Lyan. This bar is located underground, with a hotel upstairs, and they only accept walk-ins. Since I didn’t bring my ID, I had to go with a mocktail. Their drinks are super creative, and the menu is really fun – each cocktail comes with a little story. It’s a great spot to chill with friends, have a few drinks, and chat the night away! 🍹✨ Have you been to either of these places? What’s your favorite spot in DC for a nice dinner and drinks?
